If you withdraw your consent, we will delete the information we have about you. Please note that deleting this information may affect the delivery of information within the framework of the customer relationship and ongoing communications.

When you consent to our processing of your personal data, you also consent to us recording other information about you that you have provided to us on a previous occasion. Based on publicly available information, we may supplement your registered data with industry and additional contact information. If you are a customer of ours, we may also add further contact information to your data, such as information you have provided to us via phone to customer service. How Long Are the Data Stored?

If you have an active dialogue with us, we retain your information for 2 years from the last contact; after that, we remove the information we have about you. An active dialogue is defined as having interacted with Hungry Heart Cafè AS or our representatives in the past 2 years via phone, replying to emails, downloading materials from the website, or registering via a form.

If you have consented to the processing of your personal data in connection with agreeing to regular emails, we will continue to process your personal data until you unsubscribe. After that, we store your personal data for 2 years before deleting it.

If you are employed by a company that is a customer of ours, we process your information within the framework of customer service. For active customer relationships, we process your information until (1) you leave your position at the company, or (2) the company no longer has an active customer relationship with us. When a customer relationship ends, the terms for storage and processing of information will follow the same terms as described in the preceding sections. If you leave your position at the company, you are responsible for notifying us so that we can delete your information.

The information is stored by Hungry Heart Cafè AS in our customer system. We have a data processing agreement with Vevja AS, which in turn has agreements with its subcontractors.

You have the right to obtain information about what data we have about you. You can also request that we correct inaccurate information or delete your information.

If you wish to withdraw your consent or request an overview of your information, correction, or deletion, please contact us at the email address provided in the contact information section. To receive such information, you must send an electronic copy of your request on a signed document. If you wish to transfer information, we can also assist you with that.

If we intend to use your personal data for a purpose other than the one for which it was collected, the information obligation applies again, and we must inform you of the new purpose and provide the relevant information again.

We use email and phone as part of our daily operations. Relevant information from phone calls and email exchanges that are part of customer service is recorded in the customer system.

 

Our employees also use email for general communication with internal and external contacts. Each individual is responsible for deleting messages that are no longer relevant and reviewing and deleting unnecessary content in their email inbox at least once a year. Upon resignation, email accounts are deleted, but some relevant emails may typically be transferred to colleagues.

 

Sensitive Personal Data Should Not Be Sent via Email.

We would like to remind you that regular email is unencrypted. Therefore, we advise against sending confidential, sensitive, or other privileged information via email.
